This was another brilliant final for KF3. Enzo Guibbert (Birel / TM) was promoted to the front row following the retirement of Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the prefinal. This did not trouble one time pole-sitter Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) who made a better start and quickly flew away in the lead. Guibbert was unable to fall back in to the ranking and lost ground to Jo Helias (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Victor Sendin (Birel / TM). Different drivers quickly fell back to replace Alex Baron (Tony Kart / Vortex) who was up to 5th, Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) 6th, Pascal Belmaaziz (Intrepid / TM) 8th and Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex ) 12th.

Sendin managed to get rid of Helias while the 4th placed driver, the Spaniard Rafael Danieli, suffered a double attack from Baron and Hubert. Gasly lost a small amount of time passing a backmarker. On lap 9, Baron passed Helias and closed on Sendin. He attempted several unsuccessful attacks on the Birel driver. Hubert signalled his intent behind Helias. During one of these tentative attempts on Sendin, Baron lost a little ground and made contact with Helias in a minor way and more seriously with Hubert who couldn’t get going again.

Baron passed Sendin with 2 laps to go, giving Pierre Gasly the win with more than 5 ” in hand, setting the fastest lap on the way. Belmaaziz finished 3rd ahead of Deguffroy, Sendin and Guibbert.
