The KF2 Prefinal started badly with a clash ending in a barrel roll for some at the fast right after the start line. Incisively Vincent Fraïsse (Intrepid/TM) captured the lead, followed by 3 Belgians: Bailly (Tony Kart/Vortex), De Ridder (Kosmic/Vortex) and Keyaert (CRG/Maxter). Réguillon (Sodi/Parilla) ran in 5th position. Keyaert then took 3rd place and De Ridder threatened Réguillon, before he got to pass. In the end, Bailly was dangerously close to Fraïsse, but he took a brilliant victory. Behind them, it was heated between Réguillon and Keyaert until the final meters, but the Belgian retained his advantage and 3rd position. Farther back Bluy (Tony Kart/Vortex) was able to return to 6th position after his impressive crash on the first lap. The fastest lap went to Réguillon.
