Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) once again dominated the qualifying heats in KF3 with 4 wins out 4, with the fastest lap every time. The worst thing is that competition was nonexistant as his main opponents suffered problems in the heats. Danil Kvyat has not even qualified, nor has Gerard Barrabeig, and Carlos Sainz ranks 18th, Raffaele Marciello 20th … there is a gulf for his opponents to cross!

The drivers due to occupy the best seats: Maria Giuliano Niceta (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Jake Dennis (Topkart / Parilla) are in 2nd and 3rd positions. There was a remarkable performance by the Romanian Robert Visoiu (CRG / Parilla) in 4th marking a big improvement. The young French drivers Tanguy Carel (FA Kart / Vortex) and Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) took 12th and 13th places after having trouble in each outing. Pascal Belmaaziz will start in 26th position.

With such a grid, De Vries is of course even more of a favorite, but the pre-final will be eventful …
