It could be said that everything happened at the start in the KZ2 final. Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM) moved up very quickly from the starting grid and surprised both Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter). Thonon reacted faster and already finished the first lap in the lead. He was now taking revenge for the mechanical problems that have disabled him at times. Iglesias was in good form and it took Ardigo several laps to overtake.
Installed in 4th, Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) fell back after contact with Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM). Bas Lammers (Intrepid / TM), was now in fourth, gradually closed on his team-mate Iglesias. The gap between Thonon and Ardigo decreased then widened again. The positions were now stable.
The laurels went to Thonon, Ardigo was second, Iglesias third ahead of Lammers, Dreezen, Renaudie and Puhakka.
