Majestic Nato

Another super final in the GPO KZ2 category, which brought together the stars of karting. Abbasse and Varutti occupied the front row, but Thomas Mich made the best start in front of Nato and Abbasse. Varutti made a slight hesitation which benefitted Christophe Benoit. With Mich, Nato and Abbasse, the main trio of the race was already set. Varutti dropped Benoit. In 6th, Emilien Grosso was attacked by Mathias Gallepe, but it did not last very long when he went off across the track.

On lap 6, Norman Nato stunned us with a spectacular pass at the entrance of the parabolica. This is the kind of moment gives you a passion for karting! One wondered whether Mich would try to take the lead, or if would be able to attack Abbasse and Mich … Varutti was isolated in 4th position, as was Grosso in 5th place.

Christophe Benoit lost a lot of places at the end of the race, which benefited first Yannick Savard, in 6th, and then Eric Ramon during a lengthy confrontation with Pierre-Etienne Chaumat.

On the last lap, and Olivier Tilkin and Stéphane Lefebvre earned their final positions by taking the scalp of Chaumat who finally finished 10th. The win went to Nato, Abbasse was 2nd and Mich 3rd.
