De Brabander waited until the end of the 1st lap to take the lead in Race 1 in Super KF. The start was perfectly placed: Parrott, De Brabander and Renaudie. De Brabander and Parrott pulled away, followed by a group of 3 drivers – Renaudie, Groman and Vainio, and then Alfano and Dale. Puhakka was 8th to Foster-Jones.

Renaudie was overtaking in the complex and Groman lost ground to the PDB driver. Vainio took this opportunity to pass as well and took 3rd. Alfano was also on the move: he took both of the drivers and peaked in 4th. Parrott seemed to have problems with his exhaust valve and could no longer keep pace. Vainio took second and Alfano third.

In mid-race, Alfano went wide and off on the grass. Therefore De Brabander led by a large margin, then Vainio, and then super Puhakka. Dale overtook Foster-Jones. Puhakka was fast approaching Vainio and passed on the 15th lap but De Brabander seemed elusive. Foster-Jones came back very strongly, joining Vainio who was less comfortable, and took 3rd place 3 laps from the end. De Brabander gradually lost grip and Puhakka took lead then won the race.
