Lombardo will regret for a long time having chosen wet tyres for his last race. The track was still wet after showers at night, but not enough to need more than one lap on treaded tyres. Lombardo lost 10 places at once. Piccoli will start from pole position for race 1, with Patrik Hajek at his side on the front row. Luca Tilloca and Jack Hawksworth are on the second row in front of Fuoco and Fuchs.

 

The top French driver, Clément Da Silva maintained the pace in 17th place, William Benedetti has 29th position and that is it for the French clan … Lefebvre and Goudant in 42nd and 38th have not gone very far, while Benoit lost everything in an attack at the last corner.
