International GPO Karting

Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) transformed his disappointment and anger into positive energy to lead the KZ2 qualifying with a time of 49”541. Yannick Savard (CRG / Maxter) and Morgan Weber (Birel / TM) follow a very small distance behind, the Sodi drivers Anthony Abbasse and Mathias Gallepe were not very far off and these 5 drivers will be in super pole. There was bad luck for Norman Nato, who locked up and did not have enough laps to be fast: he is in 10th.

Alex Baron (Tony Kart / Vortex) was fastest in KF3 qualifying and just outpaced Carlos Gil (Tony Kart / Vortex) on the last lap. Michael Heche took 3rd position, Victor Colome 4th and Pascal Belmaaziz 5th.

KF2 Group 1: Brandon Maisano (Intrepid / TM) silenced his opponents, as usual this weekend, achieving a superb 50”477, 4 tenths fastest than David Da Luz (Zanardi / Parilla) and Kenny Vermeylen (Tecno / Parilla ). Clement Bluy was 4th and the Belgian Willems Gauthier (Sodi / Parilla) 5th. Paul-Loup Chatin came in early, only 8th, and Nils Bernardet managed a nice 9th place.

In the 2nd group, Loïc Reguillon (Sodi / Parilla) also showed very good potential with his 50”579. Sébastien Bailly (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 2nd position on the final lap, ahead of the surprise British success Sam Snell (Intrepid / TM). Jeoffrey Rouchy (Mirage / Parilla) and Jimmy Antunès (Sodi / Parilla) complete the Top 5.
