Brandon Maisano discouraged his opponents by winning the first KF2 semi-final by 8s ahead of Matteo Vigano and Patrik Niederhauser (Tony Kart / Vortex). Starting like a rocket, he was already fighting for the lead in the first 15 laps of the race. Brandon took control of the race on the following lap and was flying. The confrontation between Vigano, Vainio and Niederhauser created suspense until the end. Vainio threw all his energy into the battle and then some, and he was violently removed from the track on the fast right-hander before the start-line. There were many dropouts in this race: Luka on the 3rd lap, Blundell, Schiro and Grenhagen a little later.

Nicolaj Moller-Madsen was also a great winner in the other semi-final, he dominated without sharing the lead from the start. Partick Gaab on the Kosmos chassis and Parilla engine took 2nd place from Adam Skargard, Vittorio Ghirelli and Michal Fousek. Johansson and Fraïsse did not qualify.
