Defeated at La Conca by Nyck De Vries, deprived of pole at Sarno, Danil Kvyat (Tony Kart / Vortex) had the speed to move up in the heats. A win seemed possible after his 3rd place in the pre-final, but his opponents were well-matched. Finally, Danil managed to turn the tide of the weekend, which started badly, and gave the lie to the adage that says that everything is decided in qualifying. This was an important victory the young Russian driver won at Sarno.
Second on the final podium, Carlos Sainz (Tony Kart / Vortex) was able to reverse the backlog from the pre-final. He had to take 13 places back from his opponents! Raffaele Marciello (Intrepid / TM) confirmed his high level of performance with 3rd position, ahead of his teammate Gerard Barrabeig, who also made a nice comeback.
