Lammers, Hawksworth Iglesias in the pre-final

The KZ2 pre-final started with a fight between Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / Maxter), who started at the front, and Jack Hawksworth (Energy / Maxter). On the 5th lap,  Hawksworth took control, Iglesias responded on the next lap, but a raider in third joined the fight in the person of Bas Lammers (Intrepid / Maxter), who started in 12th place on the grid. He led the race from the 8th lap and won the race 6-tenths ahead of Hawksworth: not bad!

Alessandro Manetti (AM / TM) got ahead of Thomas Knopper, who was eventually demoted to 8th position. A good duel between Manu Renaudie and Rick Dreezen ended in favor of the French PDB driver who took 5th place. Marco Ardigo lost places at the start, but came back to 7th and took the fastest lap in the race. Thomas Mich made a big recovery, after his setbacks in the heats, he finished 13th with 14 positions gained. Jonathan Thonon lost 7 places at the start and could not do better than 17th. It was the same scenario for his team-mate Davide Fore who finished modestly in 22nd.
