The sun sets on the snow-capped Vesuvius after a long day of racing. 16 heats were disputed in the afternoon on a virtually dry track. The weather forecast is very good for tomorrow. Now we will try to establish a short outline of the day.

Advantage CRG and Thonon in KZ2 with 2 race wins, in addition to pole in timed practice. A good start on new equipment for Bas Lammers at Intrepid, who also won 2 races. The 3rd man of the hour is Simo Puhhaka (PCR / TM), who was twice 2nd. The other PCR, Thomas Knopper, is not far away. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the fastest on the track and came back in a very impressive race after coming 41st in qualifying. Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) took two good fifth places. With 2nd and 6th Jack Hawksworth seemed at ease at the wheel of his new Energy. The Pex brothers (CRG / TM) are very fast this weekend, mostly taking 5th and 3rd places. Dreezen, Ryall, Iglésias, De Conto, Renaudie were also among the best performers of the day.

Davide Foré came back strongly after his 46th place in qualifying. Arnaud Kozlinski also started far back and finished 10th, but didn’t get round the first lap in the next. Florian Alfano and Thomas Mich seem cursed after tyre problems during the rainy quaifying, Florian couldn’t take the start of one of his heats, while Thomas was crashed into twice when he was 3rd and 1st en route to a superb performance …
