The German André Hauke (Birel / Parilla) dominated his group until the last lap of the session to consolidate his leadership position, leading his nearest opponent by 6 tenths of a second. Ben Cooper (Tony Kart / Vortex), the fastest in the 1st group, took the 2nd fastest position combined ahead of Petri Suvanto (Birel / Parilla), leader of the 2nd group.

The Belgian driver Clemente Picariello (CRG / Maxter) finished up in 4th position ahead of Gianmarco Sorrentino and the Swede Jesper Rossler, both on Birel / Parilla equipment. Sami Luka edged into 10th place, Guillaume De Ridder in 12th, Vandoorne Stoffel in 14th, as if the wet weather suited our Belgian neighbours well.

Vincent Fraïsse posted a wonderful time in his group (4th) that made him the 1st French driver in 15th, just ahead of Max Goff. There was slight disappointment from Intrepid France with the 20th from Brandon Maisano, but we remember that timed practice is not his favorite part of the event. Alban Authié was 24th and Paul-Loup Chatin 56th, like many drivers the didn’t find the right settings for the rain: Gatting was 46th, D’Agosto 49th, Da Luz 50th and Smarrazzo 70th.
