Maisano, Vigano and D’Agosto win the semi-finals in KF2

Matteo Viganò (Birel / Parilla) headed the semi-final for group 1 without hesitation, quite easily dominating Max Goff (Maranello / Maxter). On the last lap, Petri Suvanto (Birel / Parilla) lost the advantage of his second place in favor of Michelle Gatting (Maddox / Maxter), Nicola Torri (Birel / Parilla) and Jacob Nortof Maranello / Vortex). The fastest on the track, Felice Tiene (Kosmic / Vortex), finished 8th.

Ignazio D’Agosto (Tony Kart / Vortex) won the second semi, while Sami Luka (DR Racing / Maxter) managed a wonderful recovery to 2nd place. Vittorio Ghirelli (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 3rd, Joel Johansson (Energy / TM) 4th and Mans Grenhagen (Energy / TM) 5th. The Frenchman Paul-Loup Chatin (Tony Kart / Vortex) took a superb 6th place, beating Viktor Oberg. Loïc Reguillon was 14th, Nils Bernardet 20th and Authié Alban finished 24th, here at the Winter Cup 2009.

Without doubt, the 3rd race could have been won by Alexandre Arrue (Mac Minarelli / TM), who was quickly installed in 1st place. But a stub axle unfortunately prevented it from becoming a reality. However, Brandon Maisano (Intrepid / TM) had not had his last word. He won after a faultless race at Lonato. Ben Cooper (Tony Kart / Vortex) regained his good performance and took a richly deserved 2nd place ahead of Clemente Picariello and Jordon Lennox-Lamb.
