Focus on the young Indonesian Kevin Susilo

Faithful to Danilo Rossi last year, Kevin Susilo didn’t hesitate to leave his homeland and his family to satisfy his passion for karting. Aged 13, Kevin discovered karting in Indonesia in 2006 and participated in a few races the next year, already taking victories. He didn’t hesitate to try his luck in Europe in 2007: “It was so different from what I knew, I was reminded of my first laps in Lonato … Before, I did not know what it was like the grip, it was difficult … ” In 2008, Kevin participated in several races in Italy, and the WSK championship in France on a CRG chassis in KF3 with DR. The learning really began!

2009 marks an important turning point: the new chassis from the DR Racing program and a semi-permanent move to Italy. Kevin Susilo found the opportunity to move up a gear with Danilo Rossi. Rossi is making sure that Kevin doesn’t suffer too much from the distance from his own family. Kevin has participated in the group testing in the WSK at La Conca who have “not bad going, but I will see clearer after this weekend of course” he confided with remarkable maturity.
