Ardigo was in 4th position, without a chance to return to the lead. The other event of the race was the fantastic climb of Jean-Philippe Guignet who saved the honour of CRG / Maxter. Starting from 23rd, the CRG driver came back like a rocket to take all his opponents eventually including Forè in the penultimate lap. It has been 7 years since Jean-Philippe took a podium finish this level. Jean-Philippe also posted the fastest lap in the race, 3 tenths faster than everyone else.

Gary Catt was particularly unlucky to keep the lead of the championship that he had headed since Angerville. While he was still in contention after his 6th place in race 1, he was forced to retire in the last race. Davide Forè showed a return to form of his equipment had a great success, finishing 2nd once again.

Sauro Cesetti was really unlucky, running 3rd after overtaking Ardigo, he faced Giacomelli on his Dunlops. The Zanardi driver protected his position by closing the door and Cesetti hit him – it ended with the two drivers retiring on the last lap. Ardigo took the opportunity to move on to the third step of the podium ahead of of Will Stevens, one of the best races of the season.

Michael Ryall finally enjoyed some success, finishing in fifth. Anthony Abbasse was ahead of his teammate Alban Varutti for once, in the 14th and 15th places. More surprisingly, the excellent 16th position of Pierre-Henri Nanot, also on Sodikart, just ahead of Florian Alfano. Armand Convers was unlucky enough not to be able to start.
