As suggested by his performance in the qualifying heats, Flavio Camponeschi was the fastest in the KF2 prefinal. He led all of the laps, ultimately to win with almost 3 seconds lead on Robert Foster-Jones. Behind, there was still a little competition. Tom Grice lost a lot of time after a skirmish which bent his bumper. Karol Basz confirmed his pace with a solid 3rd place in a race that was not very exciting towards the end. Robin Frijns, running 3rd at the beginning, dropped down to 7th position.

Petri Suvanto made a good comeback – starting 17th, he finished 9th. Mirko Luciani posted the fastest lap in the race (54”395) but dropped back to 5th after losing a few places. William Benedetti was on the
pace early on before losing ground at the end of the race, with steering column bent, to finish 18th. Jack Harvey regained some of his places, despite the difficulties in progressing in a competitive field, and will start 15th in the final, 13 places better than the prefinal. Loïc Réguillon finished down in 31st, after a crash and mechanical damage.

Victory went to Camponeschi ahead of Foster-Jones, Basz, Rowland and Luciani.
