Camponeschi looking like the favourite

Baumann, Smarazzo, Giaguaro Nero, Grice, Villalba, De Conto, Lennox-Lamb, Amberg, Zanchetta… These are the names that wil compete in the repechage for KF2 in a few minutes. The qualifying heats resulted in casualties and the races were contested passionately and there were a number of incidents.

Campo.jpgIn any case, Flavio Camponeschi will start on pole in the prefinal with another Tonykart beside him, Petri Suvanto. Sami Luka succeeded in retaining the advantage of his fastest time and celebrated his recent inclusion in the official CRG team by taking third place. Giacomo Patrono finished seventh behind Jordan Chamberlain and Sebastien Bailly, who was not unhappy with his return to the front of the field. He also beat the Swedish Energy driver Joel Johansson. The best French KF2 of the weekend was undoubtedly Alban Authie who achieved great results despite his lack of experience in karting and facing daunting opposition. He is 12th on the grid. Oliver Rowland and Jack Harvey follow in 14th and 15th.

After the repechage, the finals will be intense and full of overtaking. The question is whether drivers are able to keep their cool until the end…
