Vermeylen and Tecno win in KF2

Flavien Bouzana took advantage of his front row start to get ahead of William Benedetti. The race would be full of action from the start to the finish. Sebastien Bailly was coming through and had already moved from 26th to tenth, just as Lacaze had from 31st to 15th!

Guillaume Barbarin recovered after a start that pushed him back to fourth place. He successively passed Benedetti and Vermeylen before attacking Bozana on the fourth lap. After a short confrontation between he and Vermeylen, the Belgian took second. Kevin Mourey retired to the pits. Bouzana lost speed so Dane Smith and Benedetti benefited and passed him. Vincent Fraisse, sixth so far, slowed down the pace along with Alban Authie in seventh. Robin Frijns was delayed at the start and was back in eighth with Bailly.

Vermeylen.jpgVermeylen heightened the pressure on Barbarin, who slid off the track into the gravel and fell to the back of the field. The end of the race was hotly disputed between Charles Lacaze and Alexandre Arrue who was slightly faster. There were passes several times a lap. The new French Champion did not give up and faced Loic Reguillon before crossing the line in eighth place.

The win went to Kenny Vermeylen ahead of Dane Smith and William Benedetti on the podium, the Bouzana fourth, Frijns fifth, Bailly sixth and Fraisse seventh.
