KZ2 started in the rain once the computer was fixed. Alessandro Manetti had steering problems and went off the track several times while Marco Ardigo quickly pulled away in the lead.

The very slippery track posed many problems. Yannick Savard pushed Michael Ryall into the grass before crashing himself on the next lap. Norman Nato was in second but could not resist Ken Allemann. As 107FM says, braking distances increase substantially in the rain…

Ryall returned to the leaders, between half a second and a second faster than his opponents, but the race wasn’t long enough so he could do no better than third, which wasn’t bad. It was an overwhelming victory for Marco Ardigo ahead of Ken Allemann. Nato finished fourth, Siniscalchi fifth, Benedetti sixth, Demanse seventh and Le Brigan eighth.
