Harvey returns to the top of the times

Harvey_chrono.jpgBirel dominated qualifying for KF2 in the Asia-Pacific Championship at Suzuka. Britain’s Jack Harvey, the European KF3 Champion, took pole with a time of 48.588, one tenth ahead of Polish driver Karol Basz, himself closely followed by Kouta Sawabe.

 

Flavio Camponeschi put his Tonykart in fourth position, ahead of Giacomo Patrono. The first Maranello was in seventh, driven by Kiyoshi Nakano. Gaki Ishigama was next then Giaguaro Nero.

 

There was no improvement in the second session as the track was very abrasive, wearing the tyres very quickly.

Fine and persistent rain has been falling since noon.
