The sunny was reserved for open practice for the Asia-Pacific KF2 at Suzuka. 42 drivers, including a dozen Europeans, are on track for the championship which takes place in parallel with the World Cup.
The best times of the day were credited to the Birel team represented by Giacomo Patrono, Karol Basz and Jack Harvey who were fastest, in what seemed like a dual with Giaguaro Nero of Maranello. The Maranello driver posted the best time in the morning but Birel resumed it’s advantage in the afternoon with a 48″710 from Patrono. Tonykart drivers Flavio Camponeschi and Petri Suvanto were slightly slower in the last session.
