Thonon the master in KZ1

Alessandro Manetti and Jonathan were on the front row, their CRG/Maxters prepared with the assistance of the French tuner Tec Sav. Thonon retained his second place while Norman Nato could not be intimidated by Manuel Cozzaglio while in fifth place behind Roberto Toninelli.
On the third lap, Thonon took the lead and Bas Lammers was third, but he gained on Manetti and overtook him on the next lap. Thomas Mich followed Nato at a distance and Alessandro Piccini was eighth. Cozzaglio came back after losing time early on and Mich moved into sixth place.
After that the positions remained stable until Manetti spun on lap 14. Thonon won ahead on Lammers and Toninelli, with Nato a superb fourth place ahead of Cozzaglio and Mich.
