Poleman Arnaud Kozlinski made the best start and maintained his advantage on the first lap, but he was recorded at 47kph on the line and risked a penalty.

Gary Catt on his Tonykart took command on lap two, while Armand Convers outbraked Kozlinski and moved into second. Jean-Philippe Guignet despatched Matias Laine and Alban Varutti edged into eighth position. Anthony Abbasse came back strongly from the back of the grid but his bumper coming loose required him to go back to the pits and then retire. Jack Te Braak was back in the top ten and Davide Fore was 10th, and Will Stevens had finally found a powerful engine that allowed him to come through.

On lap nine, as was expected, the penalty was given for Kozlinski – ten seconds which returned him to 20th in the ranking, while he remained fourth on the track behind Guignet. Stevens overtook Fore and both overcame Varutti. Bollingtoft recovered some form and finally returned to the top ten. Marco Ardigo was battling and posting very good times, already having taken 11 places. Catt took off while Guignet threatened Convers, but the PCR driver held him off. On the last lap, Kozlinski tried to overcome Guignet and was knocked off.

Gary Catt won Race 2, with Convers and Guignet also up on the podium. Toman was fourth and Te Braak fifth.
