As well as Eurosport 2 who are already in place to cover the European Championship at Angerville, the CIK has installed it’s equipment at the track. No less than seven cameras will monitor the competitors, mainly at the starts.
As we know, the start is crucial, and it is often difficult to punish competitors for their excesses without the aid of video. At Angerville, for the first time, the images are sent directly to the sporting commissioners so they can make and enforce their decisions based on actual knowledge of the facts.
However, to follow the competition, nothing will replace the exccellent work of Eurosport 2 whose report will be broadcast via satellite on Monday 12th May at 19:00.
