Nyck de Vries is always very busy with either races or practice. After the great classic races of season debut and WSK, this young Dutch pilot raced in his 6th competition this season, for the opening of the German Championship, the “Deutsch Kart Meisterschaft”, in Kerpen, last weekend.

Nyck was one of the 61 pilots racing in DJKM, i.e. the German KF3 series. Nyck was one of the best pilots in timed qualifying dominated by Coleselli. Rain began to fall at the start of the first race on Sunday and Nyck could not find the good setup for the wet track. He finished 16th.

Nyck recovered most of his lost positions in the final. He even managed to surpass Coleselli and finished 6th, very close to the leaders.

Now Nyck will take a rest and spend some time back home. He is due to start training in Sarno in early May, before the third WSK race in Lonato, on 10 and 11 May.
