With Olivier Tilkin and Ronin Frijns on the front row, the KF2 final started in the fog cleared by the wet tyres.
We knew he was at ease in the rain, and Tilkin confirmed this by moving ahead while Frijns and Lacaze fought. Sami Luka was a strong fourth ahead of the two Kosmics of Michael Albert and William Benedetti. Sebastien Bailly was already in seventh position. Clement Bluy finally returned to contention this weekend and was quickly into the top 10. Julien Deschamps was not quite at the 21st spot.
On the fifth lap Frijns made contact with Tilkin and overtook in the aftermath. Robin took off, and Lacaze seemed to have found a good rhythm and closed on Tilkin. Charles passed into second place on lap 10. Bluy continued to return to the front, and overcame Benedetti to take fifth. Meanwhile Lacaze came back to Frijns but could not challenge him for victory. Tilkin was in third, Luka fourth and Bluy fifth. There were still three Belgian drivers in the top four.
