Starting from pole, Charles Lacaze (the outgoing French Champion) dominated the KF2 Prefinal this Saturday morning at Salbris. He was momentarily threatened by Robin Frijns before regaining the lead and masterfully winning the first race of the day, also posting the fastest lap.

The Belgian GKS driver took second place to Kenny Vermeylen and Julien Deschamps who recovered to fourth position. William Benedetti completed the top five after being defeated by Stoffel Van Doorne.

The race, however, was not clear for everyone, especially at the start. The fast first right was fatal to a small group of drivers including Sebastian Bailly and Clement Bluy, who were lost from the main story. Oliver Tilkin was excluded from the race.
