The President of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile was able to discover the different installations made available to the apprentice drivers, mechanics and instructors. The subjects broached during the visit included in particular the internationalisation of the training given, with the start-up in 2008 of the Formul’Academy Euro Series, the brand new single seater recently certified by the FIA, and the cooperation agreements set up by the Auto Sport Academy with its partners in South America, the United Arab Emirates and Asia.

Max Mosley : ” I have been very impressed by the visit of the Auto Sport Academy. I had not realised how extensive the operation was. And it’s quite clear that somebody who would come here no experienced of motorsport or racing on a circuit will be able to compete seriously with one of the major international series. I am jealous because if it had existed as I was young, I would certainly have come here, and things would perhaps have been better for me ! I think it’s a great contribution to the international motorsport, because it’s the first facility of this kind. And I think we will see more and more people coming from abroad here, to learn the basic train of racing. So I congratulate the French Federation for having done this, and I think this organization has a great future. ”

Nicolas Deschaux : ” We are greatly honoured to welcome Max Mosley to our training centre, especially at the beginning of 2008 when the training will become considerably more international with the start-up of the FIA-approved international series known as the Formul’Academy Euro Series. “
