Birel KZ Line 2008

Birel-KZ.jpgThere will be three chassis models produced by Birel in 2008 with Cik -Fia certification for the KZ-Shifter classes in the National and International arenas.

The series will be identified by the initials “SE” and will adopt equipment from the top of the line Freeline series. Much as in the KF series, the gearbox series with scanning function will use the R 31 mark.
Built with mixed 30 and 32 mm pipes and among the chassis most used in competitive arenas, it adapts well to medium-soft tyres used in International competitions and on tracks with a lot of grip. Its strong points are its fluidity and optimum balance which make it versatile for all types of tracks and driving styles.

The CR 31-SE model gained the podium in the 2007 World Cup and, all innovations introduced with success in the competitive arena will be among the new developments added to it in 2008.
The R Series, distinguished by a conventional and recognisable design with pipes parallel to the side of the tank, is concluded with the CRX 32-SE model, and built mainly with 32 mm pipes.
This guarantees a better grip, adapting itself well to the most slippery tracks and to medium-hard tyres.
In order to evaluate the efficiency of the 2008 updates, one only needs to think of the dominance of the French Mich in the prestigious Parma Industry Trophy.

The third model in the 2008 series is distinguished by the mark CMX 32-SE and uses a different front-end designed with the pipes (mainly 32 mm) curved at the side of the tank.
This design principle offers more precision when entering a curve.
In regards to general characteristics, the CMX 32-SE is efficient with medium-hard tyres, on tracks that are not overly rubberized and with many directional changes.

An important new development common to the entire 2008 series in respect to the past season is the use of pipes with different technical specifications.
Extensive work, both in the research phase as well as on the track, has brought about solutions which, apart from the individual characteristics of each model, guarantee more effective performance in terms of balance, fluidity and grip.
Furthermore, all models are equipped with the new Wawe braking system, new rims and hubs with the possibility of using up to 6 anchorage points and with the 2nd straight torsion bar.
