He wears the name and the helmet colours of the triple F1 World Champion: the Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn emerged victorious from the first super-heat (A) of the day ahead of Hannes Morin, who secured pole position for the Final.

Like the Dutchman, who was 8th overall, Sweden’s Jesper Sjoeberg was back up to 7th place thanks to his success in the B race in front of the Czech Petr Bezel and Austria’s Mario Novak.

In total, the British drivers Rhys Hunter (5th) and Mark Kimber (6th) stayed in the leading group. It must be said that there was more to lose than to win for the best in this last confrontation before the Final.

Of the French, Bastien Borget and Paul Fourquemin completed two superb performances on Friday. A brilliant 5th, Bastien will start 12th in the Final, while Paul has made progress from 21st to 8th place (+13). On the other hand, the meeting finishes there for Rudy Champion.
