A magic entry for the 5th CIK-FIA Historic Super Cup

For the fifth time Historic karts will feature as a support act during the CIK-FIA World Championship from 7th to 9th September in Genk (BEL) and what a quality show it will be!

Circuit promoter Dave Ritzen said: “The popularity of the event went beyond my expectation; we were already over subscribed before the entry closing date. So we had to disappoint a few people. However the 42 karts selected will give an excellent view of how chassis design has developed from the pioneer days over five decades. We welcome participants from ten different nationalities, among them some karting legends like Martin Bott, Jeff Wullens, Georg Bellof and Paul Lemmens to name just a few. Besides the on track action, there will be also an area with milestone karts on display such as the Reattino, the first kart produced by the oldest still existing kart manufacturer Birel, the Tecno Piuma that changed chassis design philosophy for ever and last but not least karts with which some F1 stars staked their claim to karting fame.”
