WSK Super Master: Spina on pole in Junior at Sarno

The weather was quite good at Sarno for the WSK Super Master Series #4 OK-Junior Qualifiers on Friday, April 6th: sunny, light cloudy sky and 24°C. Alfio Spina (CRG / TM) had two fastest laps in a row and confirmed that his pole lap – 58”590 – in the first timed session against Luca Griggs (Exprit / Vortex), Dmitrii Novozhilov (Tony Kart / TM), Gabriele Mini (Parolin / TM) and Luca Bosco (Tony Kart / TM). Marcus Amand (KR / Parilla) finished 14th in front of Isack Hadjar (Exprit / TM).

The RFM boys set two last impeccable laps and Paul Aron (FA Kart / Vortex) was credited with the fastest time, 58”717, ahead of Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart / Vortex). Rafael Camara (Kosmic / Vortex) was 3rd ahead of Saood Variawa (CRG / TM) and Sebastian Montoya (Tony Kart / Vortex). In 9th place, Thomas Nepveu (Birel ART / TM) confirmed his good intentions.

In Session 3, Kirill Smal (Tony Kart / Vortex) spun as soon as he entered the track and was unable to recover despite his best efforts. It was all the more regrettable for him that his team-mate Dino Beganovic (Tony Kart / Vortex) posted the 2nd fastest lap behind Vlad Lomko (Kosmic / Parilla), who set an astonishing 58”880. Victor Bernier (Kosmic / Parilla) moved up to 3rd position at the last moment ahead of Alex Dunne (Exprit / TM) and Sami Meguetounif (Formula K / TM). Gabriel Bortoleto (CRG / TM) finished 7th, while Loris Cabirou (Energy / TM) was 19th and Hadrien David (Kosmic / Vortex) 24th.

As the first session was the fastest, Spina became the poleman ahead of Aron and Lomko.
