Victories for Travisanutto and Edgar in the OK Prefinals

The Circuito Internazionale Napoli was still very wet despite the appearance of the sun for Prefinal A in the OK category, as part of the WSK Super Master Series. Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) quickly built a significant gap from his pursuers of whom Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / Parilla) overtook Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex) and Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex). Travisanutto increased the pace and gradually returned to the leader. Stanek retired and lost his chances of shining in the Final. Glenn Van Berlo (CRG / TM) took the opportunity to pass for 3rd ahead of Milell, with Hannes Janker (KR / Parilla) finishing 4th ahead of Chris Lulham (Exprit / TM). Travisanutto took 1st place at the halfway point and won the race almost 3 ” ahead of Nielsen, with Van Berlo finishing 3rd by 7′ from Janker and David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex). Ugo Gazil (KR / Parilla) finished 18th.

The Sarno track started to dry well for Prefinal B. Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) got the better of Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM), while Hugo Sasse (KR / Parilla) was ahead of Tijmen Van der Helm (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 3rd position. Starting from the 6th row, Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex), winner at La Conca, retired after only three laps. Tom Joyner (Sodi / TM) had a great race and was in the top five ahead of Callum Bradshaw (CRG / TM). The end of the race was thrilling. Edgar went unchallenged far ahead of team-mate Patterson, but had to fight to keep his 3rd place against Bradshaw. Joyner was still in 4th position, while Leonardo Marseglia (KR / Parilla) was 6th.
