Malheiro wins the Micro Max heats

The 36 drivers from 8 to 11 years old in the Micro Max category had two heats to race in total. With a win and a 3rd place, Adrian Malheiro (PRT) took the lead against Bent Crews (USA), while Keanu Al Azhari (UAE) was in 3rd position ahead of the two polemen Dani Van Ruiten (NLD) and Leon Zelenko (CRO). Both penalized in the second heat, Theophile Nael (FRA) in 11th and Louis Iglesias (FRA) in 20th were able to gain a few places.

Wharton remains in the lead in Mini Max

With only two points on the scoresheet, James Wharton (AUS) still led the Mini Max category for 10-13 year olds at the end of the two qualifying heats on the programme. Jamie Day (UAE) was back in 2nd place ahead of Josh Pierson (USA) while Marcus Amand (FRA) was in 4th position. Craig Tanic (FRA) made a superb recovery from 12th to 6th position.
