Lulham on pole for Juniors in Oviedo

Fernando Alonso’s track began to heat up well under the action of the Oviedo sun for the Qualifying runs of the European Junior Championship. Conditions improved significantly during the three sessions. Chris Lulham (Tony Kart / Parilla) finished on pole position with a time of 58”106 in the third session, while second-session leader Jack Doohan (FA Kart / Vortex) was 3rd by 0.35 and that Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM), the fastest in Session 1, was 8th by over 4 tenths. There are seven drivers in the 3rd session in the top 10. In addition, two drivers were sanctioned with the cancellation of their three best times for not respecting the track limits. In short, for having put four wheels on the kerb.

 

Chris Lulham is on pole, Dexter Patterson (Exprit / TM) took 2nd place against Jack Doohan, followed by Ilya Morozov (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) in the top five. Hadrien David (Zanardi / Parilla) was 9th, Evann Mallet (Exprit / Vortex) was 22nd, Jules Mettetal (Kosmic / Parilla) 28th, Gillian Henrion (Tony Kart / Vortex) 31st and Loris Cabirou (Sodi / TM) 41st.
