CIK-FIA European Championship Sarno – Free Practice Day

All is set and ready for the season-opener of the 2017 European CIK-FIA Championship.
A paddock with all the colours of the world has welcomed, this weekend, the participants of the European CIK-FIA Championship. The venue of the season-opener is the International circuit Napoli in Sarno (Italy). The number of entrants is outstanding: 165 scrutineered drivers divided into three categories KZ, OK and OK Junior. There are 31 countries represented from five continents; this is a great start for a Championship which will cover all Europe, from north to south, with its six rounds.

The programme and the TV promotion of the first challenges.
Today the three categories took part in the free practice session on the 1,547-metre long track of Sarno, which has been recently renewed. In this stage of the event, drivers and teams try to find the ideal set-up of their karts before the actual race starts. The event will move into top gears tomorrow morning, with the qualifying practice. The qualifying heats are scheduled from tomorrow afternoon to Sunday morning; then, on Suday afternoon there will be the last stage of the event, when the Finals will take place. All Sunday’s races will be broadcast live in streaming from 10.00 am on the websites cikfia.tv and cikfiachampionship.com. The broadcast will end at 04.40 pm, after the last Final.
