Starting from the first row of Prefinal A, Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) violently came off the track at the first corner and the “slow” procedure was launched. By the time the British driver was evacuated on a stretcher, the race was restarted on the 6th of the 13 laps with Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex), ahead of Juho Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex) and Noah Milell (Kosmic / Vortex). Ulysses De Pauw (Kosmic / Parilla) was 5th behind David Vidales (Tony Kart / Vortex), but Kilian Meyer (CRG / Parilla) quickly dislodged him before giving up. Basz set the fastest lap 8 tenths ahead of Milell, with Valtanen 3rd, Vidales 4th, De Pauw 5th and Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi / Parilla) 6th with a gain of seven places. Théo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex) was 8th between Hicham Mazou (Kosmic / Vortex) and David Schumacher (Tony Kart / Vortex), while Theo Nouet (Energy / Parilla) finished 14th.

Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart / Vortex) was immediately attacked by Fin Kenneally (Tony Kart / Vortex) on the first round of Prefinal B and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) followed in 2nd place. Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) gave up, apparently following a mechanical problem at the hairpin. Novalak took the 1st place on lap 4. Dennis Hauger (CRG / Parilla) returned to 4th in front of Sami Taoufik (FA Kart / Vortex) who gained over 10 places and Alejandro Lahoz Lopez (Zanardi / Parilla). Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Parilla) moved into the top 10 but dropped out midway, followed by Caio Collet (Birel ART / TM). In the lead trio, Novalak won the race while Hiltbrand attacked Kenneally who protected his position on the last lap. Hauger finished 4th, Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo / TM) 7th with 16 places regained, Taoufik 10th after a penalty and Adam Eteki (Zanardi / Parilla) fulfilled his mission by qualifying 14th with a gain of 18 places.
