At the 2nd round of the WSK Super Master Series at Castelletto, Gabriele Mini (Parolin / TM) caused a sensation by taking pole position in 60 Mini and taking the lead in the qualifying heats. Luca Giardelli (CRG / TM) remained his closest opponent ahead of Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart / TM), Dmitry Ignatov (Energy / Iame) and Ugo Ugochukwu (Energy / Iame). Alfio Spina (CRG / TM) was only 11th, Enzo Trulli (Tony Kart / Vortex) ranked 15th and Lorenzo Cioni (CRG / TM) 62nd in his first participation.

 

However, Bedrin and Ugochuwku took the lead in Prefinal A against Mini, in 3rd, Han Cenyu (Energy / TM) finished 4th and Sebastian Gravlund (Evokart / TM) 5th. Andrea Antonelli (Tony Kart / Vortex) regained seven places in Prefinal B to win with the fastest time in front of Ignatov. Saaod Variawa (CRG / TM) finished 3rd, William Wulf (FA Kart / TM) 4th and the surprising Conrad Laursen (Tony Kart / TM) 5th at the end of a 13-place climb. Despite six positions taken again, Cioni did not qualify this time.
