The start of the OK-Junior was given in single file after three laps under the “slow” procedure. Many drivers had already gone off the wet track. Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) took advantage of the situation to get ahead of Jack Doohan (FA Kart / Vortex) and Ilya Morozov (Tony Kart / Vortex) while Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart / Vortex) was arrested stopped by a black flag. Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi / Parilla) and Hadrien David (Zanardi / Parilla) were among the victims of the unusual start of the race, soon to be joined by Genis Civico (Croc Promotions / TM). Gillian Henrion (CRG / Parilla) dropped out a lap from the finish.

Rosso gained three seconds ahead of Doohan, Morozov finished 3rd two seconds later, then Dexter Patterson (Birel ART / TM) finished 4th but found himself 12th for a penalty and Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) and Leonardo Bizzotto (CRG / Parilla) completed the top five. Loris Cabirou (Sodi / TM) came out well in 14th position before being relegated to 19th position by a penalty.
