1st row in OK-Junior for Bulantsev and Henrion in WSK Super Master

Adria’s track was still slippery and challenging despite the return of the sun for the OK-Junior Qualifying at the WSK Super Master Series. Gillian Henrion (CRG / Parilla) clearly dominated the first session with 1’05”074, relegating the 2nd, Dexter Patterson (Birel ART / TM) by more than 3 tenths. Viktor Gustavsson (Tony Kart / Vortex), Ilya Morozov (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) completed the top five, while Shihab Al Habsi (Parolin / Parilla) set an excellent 10th time. Evann Mallet (CRG / TM) finished only 14th by 1.5” and Loris Cabirou (Sodi / TM) did not really take off from the back of the grid.

Taking advantage of better grip, Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the lead in the second session, being the only driver to lap in less than 1’05”. With his best lap of 1’04”890, he was more than three tenths ahead of Leonardo Marseglia (Tony Kart / Vortex), then came Jack Doohan (FA Kart / Vortex), Genis Civico (Croc Promotions / TM) and Giuseppe Fusco (Evokart / LKE).
