Zug and Morozov win OK-Junior Prefinals

Genis Civico (Croc Promotions / TM) and Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) dominated Prefinal A until the final corner where they crashed. Marius Zug (CRG / TM) seized the opportunity to win the race while Civico finished 6th and Rosso was eliminated. After a tough first lap, Gillian Henrion (CRG / Parilla) straightened the situation up from 7th position to 2nd position, long time holder of the best lap in the race. Jose Antonio Gomez Hernandez (CRG / Parilla) recovered 3rd place ahead of Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi / Parilla) who had lacked speed until then. Challenged at the start, Luca Bosco (Tony Kart / Vortex) finally managed to qualify 13th. Jules Mettetal (Kosmic / Parilla) lost any chance in an incident that sent him to the back of the pack, while Pietro Delli Guanti (Birel ART / TM) gave up.

There was a long duel at the front of Prefinal B between Giuseppe Fusco (Evokart / LKE) and Ilya Morozov (Tony Kart / Vortex), but their opponents took advantage to join them a few laps from the finish.
Evann Mallet (CRG / Parilla) spun and gave up before mid-race. Six drivers fought for victory during the last four laps. Morozov crossed the line as the winner but under investigation. Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 2nd in front of Fusco, Beganovic and Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart / Vortex), while Dan Skocdopole (FA Kart / Vortex) dropped to 7th and Francesco Pizzi (Luxor / LKE) 10th. Hadrien David (Zanardi / Parilla) completed a superb race going up nine places to finish 8th.

Civico was then excluded for bad manœuvre, Skocdopole miss his qualification because of a penalty for spoiler not correct position.
