The day was rough on the Portimao track, with hotly contested heats, and quite a number of contacts and trips off the track. These barely disturbed the poleman Fin Kenneally (FA Kart / Vortex) who won three of the four races. Then his teammate Oscar Piastri (FA Kart / Vortex) followed in 2nd place, while the young Frenchman Gillian Henrion (Kosmic / Vortex) came to join in the fight with a good balance, progressing from 13th to 3rd place. He beat drivers including Sami Taoufik (FA Kart / Vortex) and Noah Watt (Tony Kart / Vortex) who completed the top five who were almost all winners of heats. Mizzuddin Musyaffa (DR / TM) and Isac Blomqvist (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished strongly enough to be some of the drivers to watch in the finals.
Victor Martins (Kosmic / Parilla) has not lost too much time with his 9th place, and Theo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex) showed up in 18th despite a drop, partially offset by a victory. Adam Eteki (Tony Kart / Vortex) is in a very honorable 28th position, Pierre-Louis Chovet (CRG / Parilla) 34th, Franck Chappard (Kosmic / Vortex) 37th.
