There were 105 entries in Mini Rok at the Winter Cup, which is double the field of 2015. Two French drivers were taking part, Evann Mallet (CRG / Vortex) and Eliott Vayron (CRG / Vortex), but this could be the last time after a recent protectionist decision by the FFSA National Karting Commission.

Tommaso Cioci (Energy / Vortex) took pole position in Qualifying ahead of Roman Stanek (Energy / Vortex) and Kirill Smal (Energy / Vortex). Stanek regained the lead after the 15 heats, followed by Smal, with Francesco Pizzi (Energy / Vortex) in 3rd position. Mallet climbed from 33rd to 16th position, but Vayron remained 52nd. Although Stanek won Prefinal A, Francesco Crescente (Evokart / Vortex) took 2nd position ahead of Pizzi and Ciosi. Smal won Prefinal B with Mallet in its wake. Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / Vortex) came back to 3rd position. Vayron had to be satisfied with 26th place.

The final was stopped by the red flag after an accident and set off again later under the Slow conditions. Coluccio was leading Pizzi but Mallet, very determined, went on the attack and was leading until the last lap. An attack from Coluccio gave him the victory in front of Pizzi and Mallet, but a penalty then installed Pizzi as the winner ahead of Mallet.
