Roosens on pole in KF-Junior at Kristianstad

Session 1: The duel between Kenny Roosens (Kosmic/Parilla) and Marta Garcia (FA Kart/TM) ended in favour of Roosens, 51′ 177, or 0.178″ faster than Marta. 3rd position went to Ulysse De Pauw (BirelART/Parilla), Charles Weerts (Kosmic/Vortex) was 4th on the final lap and Perdana Minang (Tony Kart/Vortex) 5th. Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart/Vortex) returned to the pits with a technical problem after only two laps.

Session 2: Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo/Parilla) was in front with 51″ 826, the second best provisional time, ahead of Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic/Vortex) and Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart/Vortex). After setting the pace at the beginning of the meeting, Presley Martono (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 4th. Charles Milesi (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 10th.

Session 3: Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart/Vortex) was continually improving the fastest time for the session to end on with a lap of 52″ 028, 7th place overall, 0.173″ ahead of Sami Worship (FA Kart/Vortex) and Sebastian Persson (Tony Kart/Vortex). Noah Watt (FA Kart/Vortex), with 5th, gained two places in the last laps, Kush Maini finished only 15th, Milane Petelet (Kosmic/Parilla) 18th and Lucas Légeret (BirelART/Parilla) 19th.

Roosens secured pole, a psychological advantage important before the qualifying heats. However, Lindh was not far away, by 0.049″, while Drugovich in 3rd was 0.150″ off with Garcia and Yue Yang in his wake. Lundgaard ended up 7th.
