With three wins and one 2nd place, Joel Johansson (Energy / TM) and Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter) achieved the same results, so only the faster time for the Swede allowed him to get ahead of the Italian. A driver missing from the front runners, the German Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex) broke down – broken chain – on the grid for the last heat. Given the consequences for many drivers behind Schmitz, it would have been good to see a red flag … Stan Pex (Intrepid / TM) is 3rd after the heats ahead of Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) in 4th, and Lorenzo Camplese (Parolin / TM) 5th. Victims of Schmitz’s incident, Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Nicolas Gonzales (Sodi / TM) lost ground in 11th and 16th positions. Thomas Laurent (Tony Kart / Vortex) escaped the crash, but had some problems and ranks 13th. It’s a difficult mission but not entirely impossible for Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Maxter) who can still win the title against Johansson.
