KF-Junior: Lundgaard ahead of Drugovich in prefinal B

After a start without incident for once, Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) kept the lead of the KF-Junior Prefinal B, but Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) was already pressing in his wake ahead of Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex), Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex), Ye Yifei (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Marta Garcia (FA Kart / TM). Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo / Parilla) was no longer in the running for qualification. The fight is intense for 5th place between Garcia, Davide Vidales (Energy / TM), Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex), and Charles Martono Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex).

Meanwhile, Drugovich grabbed 2nd place at the expense of Watt, but soon gave way to Ye before retiring on lap nine. Novalak took 5th and Milesi 6th, but further back in the pack there was carnage. The on-form Sergey Travnikov (DR / TM) pushed through the order. Davide Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) took the opportunity to take 7th position ahead of Martono and Roosens. Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) retired with two laps to go after a forceful attack from Petr Ptacek (Formula K / Parilla), while he was 19th with six places gained. Victory went to Lundgaard, closely followed by Drugovich, Ye finished 3rd ahead of Garcia, and Novalak was back in business in 5th place, closely tailed by Milesi, who set the best time.
