2015 US Open Registration Now Open

New series for Rotax and Spec Honda competitors kicks off mid-May

While the final event weekends of the 2015 Cold Stone Florida Winter Tour are coming to a close, MAXSpeed Entertainment staff has been busy putting together details for their upcoming new series, the US Open. The national series, featuring both Rotax MAX Challenge and Spec Honda classes, will kick off May 14-17 at the Dallas Karting Complex in Caddo Mills, Texas, and registration for the opening event weekend is now open.

“Everyone at MAXSpeed has been busy finishing details for the 2015 US Open,” explained Director of Event Promotions Garett Potter. “After announcing over $200,000 in cash and awards, the buzz surrounding the new series has exploded with excitement. With registration now open, we are excited to get the series underway. The DKC crew is ready and waiting for us to invade Texas and bring the biggest show their track has seen.”

“We are very excited to host the first round of the US Open series at Dallas Karting Complex,” explained DKC’s Mike Jones. “Since the initial announcement, we have been busy preparing our facility for this national level event. With both Rotax and Honda Shifter classes, the racing is going to be great and DKC is ready for all the action.“
