The start of the KF final was given in the pouring rain with reduced visibility. Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) tried to repeat his manoeuvre on the outside from the prefinal, he had no chance elsewhere, but it didn’t work as well and he had to let Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) take the lead. Behind him there was hustling and Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla) took 3rd place ahead of Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart / Vortex), Ben Hanley (Croc Promotion / TM) and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex). Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) spun and lost a lot of ground. Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) was also very delayed, as was Juan Correa (Energy / TM). Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) spun and dropped to 17th. There was a big gain for Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) in 9th position.

Basz attacked Nielsen and passed on lap 5 with the very fast Vigano in his wheeltracks. Hanley retired and Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) ranked 7th, while Benjamin Lessennes (Zanardi / Parilla) was 9th. Verschoor was back in the top 10 followed by Maxime Potty (Kosmic / Vortex). Halfway through, Basz led by 1.5” from Vigano, Nielsen was 3rd by 3” and Armstrong was 4th 3.6″ further back. Lessennes took 7th with the fastest time of the day. Vartanyan was no longer in the race. On lap 14, Lorandi was not far off the 4th of Armstrong, but the young New Zealander resisted him. Fewtrell took the opportunity to return to Lorandi, but Lessennes attacked and grabbed 6th from the British driver.

Meanwhile, Basz increased his lead suddenly with fastest laps to finish as the winner, 4.8” ahead of Vigano and 8.3 ” ahead of Nielsen. Armstrong retained 4th place, Lessennes finished 5th, Fewtrell 6th, Hiltbrand 7th, Joyner 8th, Verschoor 9th, Potty 10th and Lorandi 11th.
