Michelotto wins Mini 60 with Energy!

Mattia Michelotto (Energy / Parilla) opened the hostilities with pole position among the 49 drivers entered in the WSK Super Master Series at Adria in 60 Mini, ahead of Carles Martinez (OK1 / TM) and Alberto Negro (Top Kart / TM). Michelotto then confirmed his supremacy in the qualifying heats by taking three wins. Leonardo Marseglia (CRG / TM) and Dennis Hauger (CRG / TM), however, returned to 2nd and 3rd place, Mattia Muller (Energy / TM) 5th, Giuseppe Fusco (Tony Kart / LKE) 6th and Marzio Moretti (Tony Kart / TM) 7th.

Muller then dominated Prefinal A in front of Hauger and Michelotto with Francesco Crescente (Energy / TM) 4th and Jose Gomez (Croc Promotion / TM) 5th. Prefinal B. was red-flagged after a driver rolled. Marseglia kept the lead ahead of Negro, and Dan Skocdopole (Tony Kart / TM) took the 3rd place, Ruben Moya Lopez (Tony Kart / TM) 4th and Fusco 5th.

The battle began on the first lap of the final with Hauger passing Muller and Michelotto with Marseglia 5th with three places lost, Fusco 7th and Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / Vortex) already up to 8th. The top three were competing for the lead, Marseglia closed back up with Moya Lopez and Fusco. Michelotto took the lead, Hauger tried several attacks, including one at the last corner, but in vain. He even lost his 2nd place to Muller, who set the fastest lap while Michelotto was victorious. Fusco finished 4th in front of Marseglia.
